Sony Ericsson announced the Xperia active, a compact smartphone for consumers with an active lifestyle.

With a 3 inch screen with the latest platform for Android smartphones (Gingerbread 2.3), with the Mobile Reality Display BRAVIA Engine, a 5 megapixel camera, video recorder hard drive and a 1Ghz processor. The Xperia is active dust-proof and water resistant and incorporates touch screen sensitive to wet fingers.

This equipment comes pre-loaded with sports applications that enable users to easily monitor their fitness levels. Users can define their ideal training using GPS, Barometer and Compass. Sony Ericsson to Announce Three New Walkman Series Handsets

Sony Ericsson is going to announce three new Walkman Series Handsets on 22nd July, 2008. The three Walkman Series phones are W902 (Patty), W595 (Linda) and W302 (Feng).

Sony Ericsson W902 Walkman Phone codenamed "Patty" is a candybar phone and will features a 5 Megapixel camera and 2.2" display . For music it offers a walkman player 3.0 and music keys on the right with 8GB M2 card. There is no 3.5mm audio jack for headphones, for audio you have to use an adapter. The Patty is expected to be release in October 2008.

The Sony Ericsson W595 named as "Linda" Walkman series slider phone successor of W580. The Linda features 3.2 Megapixel camera without AF, 240x320 pixels 2.2 inch display, support for 3G and running on A200 software platform. The Linda is 14mm slim and will be available in three different colors : white-red, grey and black-blue. The release date is expected to be in September 2008.

The Sony Ericsson W302 also known as "Feng" is an entry level phone and comes in a candybar form factor with a very slim metal body. The Feng has same features like S302, a 176x220 pixels screen, 2.0 Megapixel camera without autofocus and a Walkman 2.0. It runs on A2-software platform. The Feng will be release on 14th October, 2008.

Alicia New Sony Ericsson Walkman Series Handset

A new Sony Ericsson Walkman Series handset photos named "Alicia" got leaked. Sony Ericsson Alicia is a clamshell type phone from the Walkman series. The handset is much similar to the W980, which should be released by Sony Ericsson very soon. The differences between the design of Alicia and the one of W980 can be observed if you look at the front cases of the phones as well as at their keypads. But aside from these details, the two phones are quite alike. There are not too many details about the sony ericsson Alicia, but the features will be much similar to the W980 like huge memory, HSDPA connectivity, 3 megapixel camera. As we can see the walkman logo on the phone Alicia, it means it will come with a walkman player, TrackID, FM radio etc.

As said in the unofficial sony ericsson blog, the alicia will have animations which will appear on the external and hidden screen of the phone. It can display some music related information or weather reports. Also the Alicia will come with a set of themes that automatically change during the day, as a specific theme in morning and a different theme will be displayed in the evening. It is being said that Sony Ericsson will officially announce the Alicia handset in next week by June 17 along with the C905.

Sony Ericsson has introduced their new cellphone named "G502". The cell Phone is a tri-band GSM phone with EDGE support. Sony Ericsson C905 a Cool Concept Phone

Sony Ericsson has made a new cool concept phone called "C905". Well, for now, its just a concept phone but the brand will soon announce the phone and it will be available in Q3 of 2009. The C905 concept phone is equipped with some great features like 10.1 MegaPixel camera with a 3x Optical Zoom, 3 inch WQVGA screen, Sony CCD Sensor, UI of Sony T200 Camera, Auto & Manual Focus, Face detection upto 5 faces, multi focus points ( upto 5 ) with manual positioning for each one.

The Video recording is for 15mins or DVD 480p as long as memory and battery can handle. Also it has Video/3D Accelerator, NVIDIA APX 2500, 2 loud speakers in the back for stereo sound. The navigation has a JogX Rotating wheel with seven dedicated keys. It has Xenon Flash for Still and Bright LED for Bestpics, burst, video and torch. The Internal memory is of 160MB and has a Memory Stick Micro Slot. It supports Bluetooth2.1, GPS, WiFi, Accelerometer2 and TV out.

Sony Ericsson has announced that W580 & K660 will be available in new colors. The Sony Ericsson W580 was actual launched in green jungle color and now comes in red color with a nick name Velvet Red. And the K660 comes in two colors that are Silver on Black & Cyan on Black. Check out the handsets in cool colors.

Sony Ericsson Announced Z750a Through AT&T

Sony Ericsson has annouced Z750a and is available for sale through AT&T. The Z750a is a stylish phone with a Reflective mirror clamshell casing and hidden organic light-emitting diode (OLED) reflective display screen on the front of the phone that illuminates when receiving a call, displaying caller ID. It comes in different colors like Purple, Phantom Grey and Rose Pink. The Sony ericsson Z750a will be available from early April for just $49.99 with a new two-year service contract after a $100 mail-in-rebate.

Sony Ericsson T303 Mirror Screen Slider Phone

Sony Ericsson has announced T303 today on 4th Mar, 2008, a mirror screen slider phone, metal housing and with chrome finish. T303 is a Quad band phone with 1.3 mega-pixel camera, 1.8″ screen, 65K color TFT with resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. It comes with a built-in FM radio, Media player, TrackID to track your favorite songs. It weighs 93grams and measures 83 x 47 x 14.7 mm. The Sony Ericsson T303 comes in Silver or Black colors.

The company plans to offer three separate versions of the T303 to different regions US, China and Europe. The T303a is destined for the US and supports the three bands used by carriers such as AT&T, Rogers, and T-Mobile; both the international T303 and the China-only T303c will offer the 900MHz band needed for cellular access both in Europe and parts of southeast Asia

Sony Ericsson just unveiled its new non-3G Walkman phone W380i. It features 176×220 262K color TFT internal and 128×36 monochrome STN external screen, 14 MB of internal phone memory which can be expandable with microSD cards. Also 1.3 Mega Pixel camera, stereo Bluetooth (A2DP).
