Sony Ericsson is going to announce three new Walkman Series Handsets on 22nd July, 2008. The three Walkman Series phones are W902 (Patty), W595 (Linda) and W302 (Feng).
Sony Ericsson W902 Walkman Phone codenamed "Patty" is a candybar phone and will features a 5 Megapixel camera and 2.2" display . For music it offers a walkman player 3.0 and music keys on the right with 8GB M2 card. There is no 3.5mm audio jack for headphones, for audio you have to use an adapter. The Patty is expected to be release in October 2008.
The Sony Ericsson W595 named as "Linda" Walkman series slider phone successor of W580. The Linda features 3.2 Megapixel camera without AF, 240x320 pixels 2.2 inch display, support for 3G and running on A200 software platform. The Linda is 14mm slim and will be available in three different colors : white-red, grey and black-blue. The release date is expected to be in September 2008.
The Sony Ericsson W302 also known as "Feng" is an entry level phone and comes in a candybar form factor with a very slim metal body. The Feng has same features like S302, a 176x220 pixels screen, 2.0 Megapixel camera without autofocus and a Walkman 2.0. It runs on A2-software platform. The Feng will be release on 14th October, 2008.
