Sony Ericsson Announced C905, S302 and F305 Gaming Phone

On June 17, Sony Ericsson announced their three latest mobile phones -- the C905 cybershot 8.1 Megapixel high-end camera phone, S302 snapshot mid-end 2.0 Migapixel camera phone and F305 motion gaming phone.

The C905 Shiho is a slider type phone having a 8.1 Megapixel Camera with Xenon flash, autofocus and digital zoom up to 16x and much more features like face detection, Image stabiliser, PhotoFix, Picture blogging, Red-eye reduction, Video light, Video recording and Video stabiliser. It features 2.4" 240x320 pixel resolution and 262,144 color TFT QVGA screen and measures 104.0 x 49.0 x 18.0 in mm & 4.1 x 1.9 x 0.7 in Inches and 136 grams in weight.

It has 16 MB built-in memory and comes with a M2 Micro card slot (2GB card in-box). The C905 supports Bluetooth 2.0, with A2DP support, USB support, FM Radio, Wi-Fi, DLNA, GPS and aGPS. It also supports GSM 850/GSM 900/GSM 1800/GSM 1900/UMTS 850/UMTS 2100/EDGE/HSDPA. The music player supports AAC & MP3 file formats. Some other features includes Speakerphone, Video calling, Email, Instant messaging, Predictive text input, Sound recorder, Text messaging (SMS), Alarm clock, Calculator, Calendar, Flight mode, Notes, Phone book, Stopwatch, Tasks, Timer. The C905 will be available in three colors Night Black, Ice Silver & Copper Gold in Europe in Q4, 2008.

The S302 snapshot phone has a high gloss finish and only 11 mm thickness gives its a classic look. The S302 features 101.0 x 46.0 x 11.0 mm & 4.0 x 1.8 x 0.4 inches in size with 176x220 pixel resolution and 262.144 color TFT screen. It has a 2 megapixel Camera with 2.5x digital zoom and Video recording. The internal memory is of 20 MB and support Memory Stick Micro™ (M2™). It also supports Stereo Bluetooth™ with A2DP support, USB, Music player supporting AAC and MP3 formats. It also has some more features like Email, Picture messaging (MMS), Voice recorder, Text messaging (SMS), 3D games, Radio - FM radio RDS, Video streaming, Speakerphone, Polyphonic ringtones, Phone book, Alarm clock, Stopwatch etc. The phone will be available in two colors Thunder Grey or Crystal Blue.

The F305 Motion Gaming Phone targeted firmly at a youth audience. Motion Gaming lets users control games with the flick of a wrist or the swing of an arm, and then see the results straightaway on the screen. Using advanced motion sensor technology the phone can follow your actions to imitate bowling or casting a fishing line. The F305 features a 2.0 megapixel camera, 2.0” 176 x 220 TFT display (262,144 colours), 96 x 47 x 14.6 mm and 97.5 grams in weight. It supports EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 networks, Bluetooth™ technology, USB mass storage, Java MIDP 2.0, Memory Stick Micro™ (M2™) slot. It has 10MB internal memory, Stereo speakers, PlayNow™, Media player, MP3/AAC/AAC+/ eAAC+, TrackID™, Stereo FM radio, 3D games. It also includes the organiser features Alarm, Calculator, Calendar, Phone book, Stopwatch, Tasks, Timer. Integrated with Horizontal gaming mode, Cross key and Dedicated gaming buttons with Gaming shortcut key. It comes with two Style-up™ covers provided in box. The battery covers the Talk time GSM up to 8 hrs and Standby time GSM up to 400 hrs.

The F305 will be available in two colors Polar White and Mystic Black in Q3 2008 in selected markets.
