T-Mobile and Google officially announced Android G1


T-Mobile and Google officially announced the Google's first Android based smartphone G1, developed by HTC, in the press conference at Guastavino's, a cavernous banquet and wedding space on Upper East Side of New York City. The Android G1 will be available for $179 on contract with a voice and data plan. The G1 will be available in UK in November, and across Europe in 1st Quarter 2009 including Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and the Netherlands. The G1 will be SIM-locked to T-Mobile.
