Verzio Envii Announced for Asian Market

A Singapore based electronics company Verzio announced their first (HSDPA) phone by introducing Verzio Envii specially for Asian market. The Envii is a Windows Mobile 6.0 phone having Marvell PXA270 processor running at 624MHz. Because it is a Windows Mobile it supports some other Microsoft applications like Media Player, File manager, Outlook Mobile, IE, ActiveSync, Office etc. The handset features a 2.7-inch TFT touchscreen with 262K colors and 240 x 320 pixel resolution. It measures 106 x 58 x 18 millimeters and weighs 145 g. It comes with a 2 Megapixel camera with strobe LED flash & video recording and a secondary camera in the front for video calling.

The Envii supports Tri-Band GSM (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) connectivity along with dual-band UMTS/HSDPA for high data transfer speeds (up to 3.6 Mbps). The Verzio Envii has an integrated 1GB Flash ROM and a microSD card slot to expand the memory up to 4GB and a miniUSB. It provides some other features like Flick Dynamic Menu, WiFi, Bluetooth, IrDA 1.2.

About the Music, it has a Music Player supporting the MP3/WAV/WMA/AMR/MIDI files, a 2.5mm audio jack, high quality dual speakers and a FM Radio with RDS. The battery provides 200 hours of standby time and 4 hours of GSM talktime, 2 hours of UMTS talktime.

There is no word about the price and the exact market where it will release. In Philippines the PDA are available and have hit the market. So the price for Verzio Envii will be the same around $700 (approx. 29,400 indian rupees).
