Samsung on June 9th announced the high-end smartphone Omnia (SGH-i900). The Omnia features a 5 Megapixel camera with auto focus, face detection, smile detection and video editing. The key features includes a 3.2-inch wide touch display, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi and FEMTOMETER radio. The Samsung Omnia runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 with Samsung's TouchWiz finger-touch interface. The Omnia has 16 GB internal memory and a memory card slot to store 4000 MP3 file and 100 minutes of movie.
The Samsung Omnia supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and HSDPA 7.2 for Europe and Asia. With the latest Opera 9.5 version browser you can easily access Word, Excel and Powerpoint etc. The Omnia SGH-i900 will be available in Asia in June and Europe in July.
