Velocity Mobile Launched Velocity 103 and 111 Smartphones

Velocity Mobile has entered in the Windows Mobile Market. Velocity Mobile has launched two new smartphones at CTIA in Las Vegas. The two new smartphones are the Velocity 111 and Velocity 103. They are ease-of-use, sleek and attractive design, and high-end features.

The Velocity 103 is a Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro and has a 2.8-inch, 640 x 480 VGA touchscreen. It has Wi-Fi, AGPS, and no keyboard. It uses the Qualcomm Mobile Station Modem MSM7201 chipset, have 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM and microSD expansion. It has a 2-megapixel back camera and a 0.3-megapixel front video camera for conferencing.

The Velocity 111 is a Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro and has a 320 x 240 QVGA touchscreen. It uses the Qualcomm Mobile Station Modem MSM7201 chipset, have 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM and microSD expansion. The 111 has a front-facing keyboard, which cuts the resolution down to 320×240 on a 2.46-inch screen. It also has Wi-Fi and AGPS. It has a 2-megapixel back camera and a 0.3-megapixel front video camera for conferencing.

Both the Velocity handsets will be available unlocked in Q2 and Q3 of 2008, respectively.
