LG SH240 Announced in the Korean Market

LG Electronics has launched a 3G-capable HSDPA phone LG-SH240 in the Korean market on Tuesday having CYON label on it. The front panel of the handset has a silicon-covered and buttons that give it a touchable, human skin-like feel, instead of the usual relatively hard rubber or plastic common to most handsets. Another great features include SK Telecom’s Moneta Mobile Card wireless payment system, which allows customers to pay for purchases on SKT’s network and even pay for public transport in Seoul.

The LG-SH240 is enhanced with a 2-megapixel camera, MP3 playback, Bluetooth connectivity and video conversation. The suggested price by LG is at below 400,000KRW, or about $400.
