T-Mobile announced its first special variant of the Motorola-created messaging phone called
Sidekick Slide Scarlet. It features a 1.3 Megapixel camera, slide-up QVGA screen, Media player, microSD slot. With a Qwerty keyboard, the slide skills lie in its preloaded AOL, MSN and Yahoo! IM clients, together with support for POP3 and IMAP FETCH email. The pricing is stated as the phone selling for $200 with a 2 year contract and $300 for contract free versions.
