Samsung Announced L870 Symbian OS based Phone

Samsung has introduced its new mobile phone L870. The Samsung L870 is 13.5-mm thin and uses Symbian v9.3 and S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 operating system at its core. It has a 3 megapixel camera, 2.4-inch QVGA TFT display with 16M colors. It supports Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 at full speed. The internal memory of the L870 is 100MB and a microSD memory card slot up to 4GB.

The L870 has a Music player supporting (MP3, AAC, AAC+, RA, AMR, WMA file formats) and a video player which supports (H.263 + AMR, MPEG4, Real One, WMV file formats). It also supports HSDPA (2100MHz) 3.6Mbps and EDGE/GPRS 900/1800/1900.
Samsung L870 will first be available in Europe in August 2008 then in all regions where GSM is available.
