OpenMoko to release a Linux Based Smartphone next to Neo 1973

OpenMoko President has announced an heir of the Neo 1973 Linux-smartphone based on the Linux open source platform will be released in March-April 08 by OpenMoko. There are no more details available for new Neo phone. Let me tell you that the Neo 1973 was launched in July 07. It features GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 MHz networks, 2.8” VGA touchscreen, USB 1.1 and Bluetooth 2.0 interfaces and A-GPS. Also the president of OpenMoko said that company would release Dash Express, a GPS-navigator on OpenMoko Linux-platform.
